APPEARANCE

Starting with his hair; it's black (with a dark blue tint) with bangs that hang against his cheeks and fall past his chin, giving him the ability to hide his eyes. The rest of his hair is sort of spiked out in the back, only held in place by a handful of gel. That's right. Not all of it is natural. Now, his skin is pale, but it isn't too pale. It's soft and smooth, but if one felt his fingertips, they could tell he was a hard and trained fighter. His frame isn't lanky at all, more lithe and thin, but agile and strong with muscle too. He stands at about five foot five and weighs in at a hundred and fifteen pounds.

He's usually in a white, short sleeved top that is zipped up in the front and has the ever famous Uchiha fan on the back, a pair of black pants, some sort of dark blue wrap around his waist, black sandals, wrist warmers and an Akatsuki cloak. The outfit is mostly held together by a large, purple rope belt around his waist, which also holds the sheath of his chokuto in place against his backside. When one first meets him, they will notice that he stands straight and has that sort of `I'm better than you` look (and an attitude to match), though he's probably just exuding more arrogance than usual. Yes, he does think he's better than everyone else.

He's got the cocky air about him and he walks in a rather graceful manner.

PERSONALITY

When he was first introduced to his teammates (Sakura and Naruto), Sasuke showed great indifference to his teammates. Feeling that his abilities were far superior to their own, he was unwilling to cooperate with either of them because doing so would do nothing to help him kill Itachi. This was proven wrong though. As he started to get close to others he also begins to risk his own life to save them, even though his death would leave him unable to fulfill his goal of revenge upon Itachi.

Although Sasuke was content with a life of happiness in Konoha, he never allowed his ambition to gain power to leave his thoughts. He tested his skills against stronger people to figure out his weakpoints and to see what he was strong in. While initially complacent with his development, Naruto quickly started to grow stronger at a faster rate. This, coupled with his quick defeat by Itachi during a brief return to Konoha, led Sasuke to believe that his growth was slowing. In an attempt to reassess his strength, he began to treat his friends as opponents so as to test his abilities against their own.

Dissatisfied with his progress in Konoha and believing Orochimaru would make him stronger so he would be able to kill his brother, Sasuke tried to leave the village to ask for his help. Naruto tried to stop him and Sasuke attempted to kill him, the words of his brother reminding him that losing the person he cared for the most would make him stronger. Even though he tried, he could not follow through on this because he cared for his friend so deeply and continued on to ask Orochimaru for help.

In the two-and-a-half years he spent with Orochimaru, Sasuke's goal to kill Itachi took precedence above all else; he was willing to give his body to Orochimaru if it meant killing Itachi, but he turned traitor on his new master and destroyed him instead, taking his power for himself. After achieving his goal of bringing about Itachi's death, in the process learning how his brother was manipulated by Konoha's higher ups, Sasuke abandoned all of his hate for Itachi and resolved to destroy Konoha for both of their sakes.

To put it easily, Sasuke can come off rather cold and distant, though he really isn't on the inside. He is distant to people he doesn't know and he always has a calm look on his face, though if he's friends with someone, he seems to relax a bit, smiling more often around them and being nicer to them of course. He does like things to go his way, so if he has to fight to make it happen, then he will. He's very confident in his abilities (or really anything that he does) and can come off as arrogant at times, which he sort of is, but doesn't pay any attention to it.

He's persevering and very stubborn at times, but he really is good on the inside. It just takes a while to break him down.

HISTORY

!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Sasuke's early childhood was spent living in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi, who was the prodigy of the Uchiha clan. To show that he didn't want to follow his brother's footsteps, he trained as hard as he could to gain his parents' attention, though his brother, who he was trying to outdo, would be the only one to notice it at all. Eventually, Itachi began to distance himself away from the family and they turned to Sasuke to keep the clan going.

After this, Sasuke began to be `accepted` (or as accepted as he could be) into the family, only by showing his father that he could do a fire jutsu. He returned home one day to see the bodies of his family all along the street and when he got back to the Uchiha compound, he saw his elder brother standing over the bodies of his mother and father. When he tried to run, Itachi told him that he had never loved him and claimed that he wasn't worth killing. He encouraged him to get stronger, telling him to live to be angry and hate him, to avenge the death of their family. With no one left to tell him what to do, he dedicated his life to training to kill his brother when they would meet again, though he really had his doubts.

After his encounter with Orochimaru, who began to manipulate Sasuke into his custody, Sasuke started to act independently of Naruto and Sakura, pursuing his own opponents and being the only one to train with Kakashi. With Itachi's short return to Konoha and Sasuke's defeat by him, he became dissatisfied with what he had learned as a member of Team 7. He began to believe that Orochimaru would make him strong enough so he would be able to kill Itachi. Naruto attempted to stop him and the two fought, but when Sasuke tried to destroy Naruto completely, he found that he could not bring himself to do it and ran so he didn't destroy his best friend.

Two and a half years later Sasuke is convinced that he has learned all that he can from his new master and he turns against the weakened Orochimaru to destroy him before he can do a body switch. He reverses the process, absorbing the man in his weakened state and allowing him to start his journey to search for his brother. He forms the team named `Snake`, whom is made up of Suigetsu Hozuki, Karin, and Juugo; the people that he calls his new `friends`. As soon as they track Itachi, he leaves them to go and find him. Once found, the two of them fight for a long while and Itachi is finally defeated. After this long battle, Sasuke is found by Madara, who tells him that Itachi was told to kill the Uchiha clan under Konoha's orders, though Itachi spared the younger brother out of love and allowed himself to be killed. Sasuke is shocked and sad to find that the brother he hated for so long was a good person turned bad by the orders of his old home.

He returns to team Snake (Hebi) which he renames `Hawk` (Taka) with his new Sharingan and goes to destroy Konoha.

Before Taka can attack Konoha, Madara convinces them to start working with Akatsuki. He ends up sending them to the Land of Thunder to capture the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tailed Beast, Killer Bee. The capture attempt got off to a bad start, as Killer Bee easily defeats both Suigetsu and Juugo, and ends up impaling Sasuke in the chest with multiple swords. Sasuke is rescued and healed by Karin, and the team decides to all attack at once. While they had more success, Killer Bee releases a great deal of the Eight-Tails' chakra and creates a chakra cloak. When Sasuke fails a Genjutsu on Killer Bee, the latter retaliates with great force, using the Eight-Tails' power to blow Sasuke's neck and chest apart. While Sasuke is down, Killer Bee fully transforms into the beast sealed within him, leaving Taka outclassed. Suigetsu sacrifices himself to give Juugo time to heal Sasuke. Fearing the deaths of his teammates, Sasuke unleashes his new Mangekyou Sharingan and Amaterasu to capture Killer Bee.

Sasuke delivers Killer Bee to Madara (although this was later discovered to be a fake) before regrouping with Taka. While resting, they deal with a Kumo ninja who had been following them. However, Sasuke begins to learn that his eyesight is already starting to deteriorate. He decides to keep this revelation from his team.

Once Taka recovers from their fight with Killer Bee, they move towards Konoha but are stopped by Madara again. Madara tells them first that they failed in capturing the Eight-Tails and therefore betrayed Akatsuki in not completing their goal then gives them a new target; Konoha's new Hokage, Danzou. Meanwhile, Danzou himself labels Sasuke a missing-nin, sentencing him to death.

Taka follows Zetsu to the Land of Iron and finds a less secure way of entering the country to assassinate Danzou. However, Zetsu alerts the Five Kage that Sasuke was near and their samurai defenses were mobilized. Karin notices how Sasuke's chakra had become noticeably darker as he, Suigetsu and Juugo eliminated the guards sent towards them, while she was sent to search for Danzou. When the Raikage, Shi, and Darui find them, the Raikage and Darui charge Sasuke directly, enraged at the man who "kidnapped" his brother. He is protected by Suigetsu and Juugo, although Sasuke replies by telling both of them he doesn't need their help. Realizing that one of them was a sensor type, Juugo transforms into the second stage of his Cursed Seal to deal with him, but is quickly removed by the Raikage.

Sasuke uses a Genjutsu to incapacitate Shi and continues to fight the Raikage. The Raikage, however, has the advantage of strength, ramming Sasuke with a Liger Bomb, which Sasuke barely protects himself from using an incomplete Susanoo. With the element of surprise, Sasuke attacks with Amaterasu, but the Raikage evades and goes for another attack, though Sasuke protects himself by wrapping his Susanoo with Amaterasu's flames. The Raikage, in pure rage, sacrifices his arm to punch through the Susanoo.

Before the Raikage can land a strike once more, Sasuke shapes the flames into a shield of spikes. Gaara intervenes, saving the Raikage from additional damage and giving himself an opportunity to talk to Sasuke. Gaara attempts to convince Sasuke to end his life of darkness and hatred, reminding him that he was once that way but had changed. When Sasuke refuses, and his siblings remind him of his duties, Gaara regretfully prepares to attack. Sasuke is attacked by Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, and Darui simultaneously, but was able to block all of their attacks using a more complete Susanoo, to which Sasuke claims has a defense more absolute than Gaara's.

After Sasuke releases a more complete Susanoo, he uses its sword to destroy the pillars supporting the ceiling, to crush his opponents, giving a notably twisted smile. However, Gaara uses sand to protect his siblings and Darui, while the Raikage smashes the falling pieces of the ceiling. Sasuke catches Karin to save her from the debris, but violently throws her onto the floor, and coldly orders her to take him to Danzou, while abandoning the injured Suigetsu and Juugo, much to Karin's fear. Sasuke uses the collapse as a diversion to go after Danzou, but once he arrives in the meeting room, he is attacked by Mifune while Danzou runs. Sasuke prepares to chase him down, only for the Fifth Mizukage to intervene, using her kekkei genkai to fire a glob of lava at Sasuke. As he stands in defiance of the Mizukage, her bodyguard attacks him, sending him flying through the wall behind him. The Mizukage confronts him in a back room and seals it off completely. She then reveals she is capable of using two Kekkai Genkai, and three elemental chakras. She uses her Boil Release technique to spew out an acidic mist, which begins to melt away the bones of Susanoo. Sasuke tries to escape, but lacks the chakra. The mist begins to erode the skin of his arm. He is saved by the timely activation of White Zetsu's Hoshi no Jutsu. Zetsu steals some chakra from the Mizukage and transfers it to Sasuke. Sasuke activates Susanoo fully and smashes back into the meeting room. There, he is confronted by Onōki, who proceeds to create a large cube of compressed dust and crush Sasuke with it. Moments before death, Sasuke is saved by Uchiha Madara, who asks for the five Kages to listen to his Eye of the Moon Plan.

The Raikage attempts to attack Madara while Sasuke remains unconscious on his shoulder, but the punch instead phases through him. Madara then uses his Space-Time jutsu to send Sasuke to another dimension along with Karin, who is given the task of healing him.
